Max Spooner

Team Manager

Max started with the team back in the summer of 2019 as a driver, before taking on the role of Team Manager in April 2020. Max brings a wealth of experience having been sim racing for 12 years using platforms including rFactor, iRacing and Assetto Corsa.

A huge F1 and BTCC fan, he has also raced in the real world too, competing in the 750 Motor Club Locost Championship.

Along with alongside our other drivers, Max's role includes the day to day running of the team, designing all of the liveries, organising our GT Challenge, coaching in the sim racing academy and looking after and promoting our great sponsors.

Alex Goldschmidt

Social Media Manager & Commentator

Alex has been a part of Team BRIT on and off from its very humble beginnings back in 2015 as the team's first press officer. Bringing with him a wealth of experience working in various motorsport and karting championships, Alex is often found to be travelling all over Europe.

Joining us for our Summer Series as our official commentator, Alex then further expanded his repertoire into eSports and has since worked on other championships and communities including the Simply Race British Championships, VRRC Touring Car eSeries, SimSport Racing and the Sim Grid.

Beyond that Alex works as our social media manager helping create an effective online presence. Also nicknamed as Max's "sanity checker" he has also supported us in creation and promotion of the GT Challenge.

James Hall

Sporting Manager

James originally joined the team as a driver back in the spring of 2019. In late 2020 he took on the role as Sporting Manager. James suffers from Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Psychosis. Having been sim racing since 2007 James brings a wealth of experince the drivers can beneift from. His role in the team is to make sure the drivers are in the best possible shape going into races and championships. This involves organsiing entries, preparing setups and practice sessions as well as keeping tabs on the drivers well being. As a massive British GT fan James will usually be found in a GT3 car and continues to race for the team to bolster entries on the grid.
